Have you ever taken the time to understand the psychological effects of hunger in children?

Have you ever read about hunger?

Maybe you should, the level of suffering, how it affects how children perceive life and the level of anxiety and fear it causes.

Hunger is not felt in your stomach, it's felt in your brain.

We just had a toy, cookie and plaything hunt.

We will repeat the same this month and December, bringing happiness is not just about filling a stomach or stopping a cold.

Far left: Keren one of the students that received a full scholastic scholarship to start her freshman year at UNICA has just completed the last step leading to her H.S. graduation.

She verbally defended her thesis before a board of her professors. She can now walk on to the stage in early December and receive her Diploma.

Scholarships, a year long responsibility.

To date donors have financed transitions from public school to private schools, currently all of our students are in Private Schools.

Donors have financed junior and senior years in HS to freshman year in college continuing to sophmore year this coming 2027

2027 will have two more students gong from HS to freshman in University.

Two students will be entering 7 th and 8th grade this coming 2027. The 7th grader will be on his fifth year of full scholarship.

To date 13 schoolyears on full scholarship have been paid,

Luis coming back again from the hospital. Number 200-300 I don't think anyone knows or keeps count.

I may be showing another picture by the weekend as normally, it's 6-8 times a month, depending on how long he is kept.

Too much suffering for one child.

Our educational support is not all about scholarships, nor shoes nor notebooks.

A big part is providing children with the tools and materials to do projects at home that they have been sent as homework for school and which they paste or hang in their classrooms.

We enjoy this work because it's a form of self expression, of taking the time to create beauty and knowledge, which to me is on par with learning the multiplication tables or the capitals of foreign countries, Congratulations.

Alfredo Style Pasta, heavy on the chicken, heavy on the cream.

Light tendrils of food, that hit your stomach like a brick, children seem not to be affected and will repeat.

For us who are a little older, the consequences may be different and like the movie, "Fast and Furious"
