Station Maine Station Maine is an organization of community members dedicated to offering boating opportunities at no cost to youth of all ages in the mid-coast Maine area

The Phippsburg Sportsman's Association hosted an awesome Winter Sports Day. Station Maine rowers got to snow shoe, cross country ski, and run actual dog sleds. The instructors were enthusiastic, the dogs were even more enthusiastic, and I can't imagine a more fun day in the snow.

With a spring tide that mired our boat in the mud we noticed how close we were to the rocks. The young crew of Station Maine did not hesitate to jump into the freezing mud to move the rocks by hand, one by one, and make Red Jacket safer for winter.
