The Library is a “Carnegie,” constructed between 1903 and 1905. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Congratulations to the lovely Victoria V - the Grand Prize winner of the 2026 Adult Summer Reading Challenge! Victoria won a bag of goodies donated by Trader Joe's-Hanover,MA, a generous gift card donated by Sarcastic Swine Restaurant & Catering, and an iREAD Plant a Seed, Read tote bag!

The Libby app team is saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a beloved artist and cultural icon, but perhaps just as importantly, she was a lifelong champion of literacy and the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children in communities across the globe and inspired generations of young readers to discover the joy of reading.

Today, we’re taking a quiet moment to read in Dolly’s memory and to celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
