Renew Rockland Our projects include: the Rockland Community Farm Project, Waste Watchers, Roc Renew Rockland is a Maine nonprofit started, built and powered by volunteers.

We work on projects that will keep our community healthy by supporting a strong local economy, our ability to grow our own food, produce our own energy and produce local goods. We build resiliency through education, projects and advocacy that support our local economy & a healthy environment.

The City Council will be hosting a special meeting about SHORTTERM RENTALS (aka airbnbs) and VACANT Buildings.

"Should the Rockland City Council enact legislation to phase out non-owner occupied short-term rentals?

Monarch butterflies need milkw**d to survive and their numbers are dwindling.

It's easy to overlook Milkw**d as a common w**d and cut it down by mistake. At this time of year some Monarchs have already arrived to Maine from their long journey from Mexico (!). Some of our local Milkw**d may already be home to their baby butterflies (not yet very visible in their cocoon form).

Learn do identify Milkw**d -- keep an eye out -- and educate your friends and neighbors -- don't cut down or remove your milkw**d!
