I truly enjoy giving back to the community that gives us so much. I enjoy making new friends as we drive to and from treatment day after day. What I don't enjoy is saying goodbye to those that I have been fortunate enough to meet and transport. Yesterday I had to say goodbye to a dear friend.

I drove my friend Rene 38 times from Searsmont to Brewer, traveled 6,157 miles and stayed with him for 192 hours. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I learned a great deal about life, family and the true meaning of love during these trips. Is it sad? Of course it is. Did I learn something? indeed I did. What I learned will forever stay with me as will the memories of the 38 trips, the 6,157 miles and the cherished 192 hours of conversation and sometimes absolute silence. Thank you Rene. Thank you for being YOU!!

Round trip transportation today to PBMC. All complimentary thanks to your help. Every little bit helps and we are so thankful.

Last week we provided 2 trips to treatment. We received a call yesterday for a possible trip to Boston. We can do it, just not in the truck. (Needs too much work). However, we will use an executive van from a rental company. Thanks to your support for making this possible. Thank you for being you!
