The Richmond County Rescue Mission is being formed to offer more than beds and hot meals. The long term vision is to change lives through caring, the meeting of basic needs, teaching God's word, counseling/ treatment, GED Prep, work prep, job placement, permanent housing and hopefully much more. This should be a total community effort and will require many different arms to accomplish the task at hand.

We invited pastors of local churches to come out for dinner and to hear a short program about the many things going on at Place of Grace Campus this evening.

Unfortunately, due to many competing events and other Saturday activities we are expecting a light turnout.

If you are interested in coming to represent your church or other organization to hear what’s happening AND get a free meal in the process, come on out to Place of Grace Campus at 6pm tonight!

The gang from Cartledge Creek along with some volunteers from Roberdel Baptist came out to get the ball rolling on the new paint jobs.

Thanks to all who helped and we have more rooms and hallways waiting on a fresh coat of paint. Please get a group together and let us know when you would like to get your hands dirty!

A great resource for us since we began heading down the road towards a rescue mission. Rick has devoted much of his life to helping “the least of these”. Come out for an inspirational message of hope.

We would like to announce our guest speaker coming up this Sunday Sept. 15th. at 6pm. Pastor Richard Fitzgerald. Pastor Richard Fitzgerald is the Director of Philanthropy at Raleigh Rescue Mission and has an abundance of education from around the world. Going to be a great night you don't want to miss! God Bless

We are offering local churches, civic organizations and groups of individuals the opportunity to get involved and help make a difference in our community. We were recently granted money to help with getting our new home into good shape. We are looking for volunteers to assist with painting the interior of the Richmond County Rescue Mission at the Place of Grace Campus. The painting supplies and paint will be provided. We just need groups of people who are interested in helping. What we are asking is for your group to choose one or more rooms to paint. There are 18 former classrooms that need new paint jobs in the coming weeks. The rooms will be ready for groups to paint very soon. Please send a message to this page if you are interested in helping!

Make your Mark and Make a Difference- Sign up for a room today!
