Had a great day yesterday at Rock River Robotics Offseason Event!

We finished qualifications ranked 10th, and captained the 6th playoff alliance.

Our playoff run came to an end in the second round but it was a great opportunity to get more experience for our drive team!

What a day at the Inaugural Illinois State Championship!

After overcoming some technical challenges, we finished qualification matches ranked 15th.

We were selected for the 5th playoff alliance and our playoff run came to an end in the 3rd round.

We’re proud of our student’s resilience and are grateful for everyone who cheered us on.

As FLYT 2290 prepares to compete at the inaugural FIRST Illinois Robotics State Championship this weekend, we want to thank Senator Dave Syverson , State Representative Dave Vella , Dawn Granath for 9th Ward Alderwoman , and Jonathan Klarer Logemann who joined us for our open house tonight.

We appreciate your willingness to spend time with our students and learn more about the impact FIRST Robotics has on our community.

Through hands-on experiences in engineering, manufacturing, programming, business, leadership, and teamwork, FLYT helps develop the next generation of leaders and problem solvers.
