THANK YOU & LET'S GO WIN THIS ELECTION!

The general election begins today, and I want to kick it off by thanking everyone who turned out to vote in the primary, every person who has volunteered over the last year, and all who have pitched in to fund this campaign.

From day one, this campaign has been centered on the everyday people of this district—in how we shape our policies and priorities, and how our organization is built and funded.

There's no doubt about it: this is going to be a tough fight from now through November 3rd, and we are going to be outspent by corporate PAC dollars, dark money groups, and well-funded special interests. But what we have that they don't is an army of motivated, regular people who are sick and tired of a political and economic system that has served the interests of the powerful for generations while people like us fight for the scraps.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support, enthusiasm, and courage. It's now time to double down, be fearless in this fight, and never forget what's at stake: our children's and grandchildren's future. Onward!

Tonight was Eric Dean’s Retirement send off at IMPACT’s Labor Management Conference. There was some great Labor Leaders there to speak as well as in the room. Eric has always made decisions that he felt was in the best interest of the Ironworkers. He is a genuine person. I remember him giving me advice when I first became an Organizer for our local and answered many questions I had in that capacity and beyond. In my time in office I have spoke to many other crafts who have also met Eric and have heard him speak at their International Meeting over the years and they all say the same thing, what a guy, you guys are lucky to have him as your GP. Thank you for what you haw done for the Ironworkers and Congratulations on your retirement Eric!
