🏆 WE'RE GOLD! NIAAA WINS INTERNATIONAL MARKETING AWARD! 🏆

We have some exciting news to share!

The Northwestern Illinois Area Agency on Aging (NIAAA), in partnership with KMK Media, has received a 2026 GOLD MarCom Award for our Social Media Marketing Campaign! 🎉

The MarCom Awards are an international competition recognizing excellence in marketing and communications, and we are honored to receive this recognition!

Our caregiver awareness campaign, conducted from May through August 2026, achieved some remarkable results:
🌟 Over 1 MILLION people/accounts reached
🌟 More than 9.1 MILLION impressions
🌟 Over 85,000 link clicks connecting people with information about caregiver resources

But for us, this award represents something much more important than marketing success.
❤️ It's about reaching caregivers who may feel overwhelmed, families searching for answers, and older adults who need support to remain healthy and independent.

Every connection is an opportunity to remind someone that help is available and they don't have to navigate the challenges of aging alone.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible partners at KMK Media for helping bring our vision to life, and to our dedicated NIAAA staff and community partners who work every day to support older adults and caregivers throughout our nine-county region.
