CELEBRATING MAY BIRTHDAYS!
Carpenter’s Place loves to celebrate special events with our guests. Birthdays are a wonderful opportunity to recognize these important milestones. In May, we celebrated with Gary, Crystal, Vernon and Brian through song and a small gift. CP wishes each of these special guests all of God’s many blessings!

Last week, our Carpenter’s Circle members gathered for a wonderful brunch for an annual update about Carpenter's Place and Carpenter's Corner. It was a Blessing to have a room full of incredible supporters who believe in our mission and help us carry it out. We are so grateful!

Celebrating Our Volunteers!
Volunteers are the reason Carpenter’s Place and Carpenter’s Corner can continue our missional work! There are so many things our volunteers do including guest laundry, providing meals, processing donations, painting, yard work…THE LIST GOES ON! In April, we celebrated these wonderful individuals at our volunteer appreciation dinner. It was a time to personally thank everyone and share what an impact they make on our organization. We are so grateful for the individuals, churches and businesses who volunteer each day!

Big Hearts, Hearty Meals…

Each day, as many as 100 homeless guests arrive at Carpenter’s Place, hungry for food and fellowship. Now is the perfect chance to offer a welcome meal and helping hand to those that need it the most. Interested in providing a meal now through June? These dates are currently available:

JUNE
Breakfast: 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 17, 19, 24, 26, 29,30
Lunch: 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 12, 29, 30

Thanks to our generous community, our secure entrance was finally installed! Last year, at our 25th Anniversary Celebration, we asked for donations for this project. Seeing it come to completion has us feeling blessed. Our supporters are simply incredible.. THANK YOU!

OSF Cares for the Homeless...

OSF College of Nursing recently held a drive to benefit Carpenter’s Place guests! Along with a generous monetary donation, nursing students collected shoes & socks, underwear, personal hygiene items, coffee supplies, and hot sauce - a guest favorite! This collection was a wonderful blessing to the homeless individuals we serve as they work to rebuild their lives. OSF and their College of Nursing have been a long-standing supporter of Carpenter’s Place and we are so grateful!
