Test Site is a great acoustic space, and we're ready with a full audio setup, as well as an extra instrument or two in case you aren't able to bring your own. Just come ready to do your thing 🤘

Check out our rad new seating!

We got it all from the Deborah Newton Legacy Endowment estate sale at Bennie's Cleaners Inc. cleaners last weekend. The rolling chairs are custom pieces. Solidly built, comfy, and very classy 😍

Are you into the performing arts? Come to our open mic next Tuesday 🎤

Hosted by Aletha Flo, this event is a great opportunity to check out the local scene, showcase your own talent for the first time, or workshop some material for a new audience. Our focus will be singer/songwriters, but our door is also open to poets, comedians, producers, spoken word and rap artists---basically whatever live performance you can fit into a ten-minute slot. (Don't worry, we can accommodate backing tracks too ☺️)

Free admission with a $3 suggested donation per attendee. Sign-ups will be first come, first served. We'll also have some light refreshments.

This is an all ages event, so please do your best to keep it family friendly! If all goes well, this event will be on the first Tuesday of every month moving forward.

Things are growing at Test Site… and we’re looking for people who actually want to build with community, creativity, and intention.

We are currently seeking volunteers for:
• Event setup + breakdown
• Gallery support
• Community outreach
• Workshops + creative collaborations
• Fundraising + gift shop support
• General helping hands with good energy and initiative

No perfect resume needed.
No “art world” status required.
Just reliability, communication, accountability, creativity, and respect for shared spaces.

If you’ve been looking for a place to contribute, connect, learn, create, or help cultivate culture in Rockford….this might be your sign.

Weekly volunteer meetups:
