Last month, we were in Brimfield, Illinois to celebrate the opening of Jubilee Solar—Illinois’ first Illinois Shines Public Schools community solar project, built in partnership with Nexamp on the campus of Brimfield CUSD #309.

As this 3MW project is energized, the annual savings and revenue generated will enhance the district’s financial stability, with a significant portion going toward the school’s enrichment programs.

Trajectory's Senior Project Manager, Kiersten Sheets, shared, “Today marks a milestone, not just for the Brimfield School District, but the entire state of Illinois. The opportunity to create Jubilee Solar through the Illinois Shines program is a model of collaboration between local leaders, developers, and policymakers to maximize the many benefits solar projects provide."

We’re thrilled to have Jubilee Solar as an example of this important work, and to stand with community partners like Chad Jones, Brimfield CUSD 309 Superintendent, and Dane Simpson, Renewable Energy Director for Great Plains Laborers - Employers Trust, who helped make this project a reality.
