Our weightlifting program had a great week!

We focused on relationship skills with the goals of taking accountability and building better habits by being consistent. By doing that we build better relationships at home, school, and work.

✨ Challenge of the week: Be consistent everyday this week with something small you may struggle with. (This can look like keeping your room clean or turning in homework on time 😊)

Our youth weightlifting program is funded in part by the and the voter approved 1/2 cent sales tax.

We’re so excited to welcome back our Youth Yoga Program at 🌿

To kick things off, we explored the theme Breathing for Gratitude. Gratitude plays a big role in building healthy relationships and it can also come from simply being present and mindful of the world around us.

During class, our kids spent time throughout the gardens noticing what they could see and hear. From the sounds of animals to the calm of the water and the beauty of nature, they discovered so many small moments to appreciate.

✨ Challenge of the day: On your next walk or drive, take a moment to notice the beauty around you. What are you grateful for?

Strong relationships are one of the most powerful ways to support our mental health.

Last week, our youth weightlifting program kicked back into action as we focused on having kids getting to know our staff and each other. Building healthy relationships gives us support when we need it most and helps us grow emotionally. When we develop strong relationship skills, we’re better able to understand others and communicate more effectively.

Next time you’re talking with your child, friend, or teammate:
👂 Listen fully—with your whole body
❓ Ask thoughtful questions
💭 Pause and reflect before responding

Small moments of connection can make a big difference.
