The Hogs may have fallen short of the win, but it was not due to lack of effort. The boys played hard and did exactly what they needed to do to stay in the game the whole time. Coach Ward had this to say in his post game interview. "I am so proud of these players and how hard they battled. They never gave up, they played and left it all on the field. Jaxon hit a triple for the Hogs as they started to chip away and Miken Pehler smashed a a ball all the way to the fence and got an inside the park homerun! She mans both infield and outfield positions and even found herself on the mound a few times. She was able to drive in 5 runs in her rookie season and ended the season with a solid ERA on the mound. L will be working hard again this season and is hoping to continue helping the Hogs along during the season!

This concludes player intros for 2025 and this roster looks ready and willing to make things happen for Coach Ward and the rest of the staff! The Hogs season starts tonight on Diamond #4 against Larson and Larson. Coach Ward gave us a quick few words " These young men and women have been busting it at practice. They have all the tools to be something special and its up to them to open that tool box and get to work. I have all the confidence in the world in my players, staff and fans. We play baseball the right way, we stay humble and we stay classy. We play hard, we play fast, we play smart, and we will always play HOGS baseball! The skies the limit for these young players and I am so proud to be a part of what is to come!"

With that being said just a couple reminders. There are no dogs, alcohol allowed at the park. There will be no Hogs fans disrespecting umpires, park officials or rival fans, this is a must! We stay classy at all times Hogs Nation! If you get thrown out or in a squabble the opposing team our team will automatically lose the contest. So please keep that in mind and let us coaches do our job. And finally if for some reason you cannot be at a game please let Coach Ward know as soon as possible!

His offseason was spent getting ready to drive in some runs and make some plays in the field. He is a great teammate and always finds a way to make the other players laugh and have a good time! He is a perfect fit with this group!
