Made some minor updates to our club's web page. Take a look at it to see what you think. We can add / change info on it as needed. This is just another form of 'On-Line' media that we have at our disposal.

It is almost destiny how some things happen in this hobby. Richard Neal was kind enough to gift me a program from the 1978 Sycamore, Illinois show and while flipping through the pages I noticed something familiar. On page 48 there is a snapshot of a horse drawn Steam Pumper taken at the 1977 show. This is the same one that we acquired through the Du-All Company last year. It didn't fare too well over the years of sitting outside. But we hope to have it under it's own power in the future to demonstrate how it worked over 100 years ago when new.

Richard Lee Stayner, age 69, of Cross Plains, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, following a valiant battle against lung cancer, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. He was born on Sept. 8, 1956, in Charles City, Iowa, the son and youngest child of Raymond and Alice (Duesenberg) Stayner. Funeral....

All loaded and ready to take some things over to the Kinney Pioneer Museum function this weekend. We need to help support different groups around the area when we can and where you can. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces on Sunday. (yes, on Mothers Day).

Today there was a little get together for one of our founding members. Roland Endelman turned 94 years young. If you are around the Charles City area and see him out and about wish him a happy belated birthday. He has been an avid engine collector / scale tractor maker / car collector / tinkerer over the decades. Korean War Vet and retired OLIVER Corporation employee.
