It is almost destiny how some things happen in this hobby. Richard Neal was kind enough to gift me a program from the 1978 Sycamore, Illinois show and while flipping through the pages I noticed something familiar. It didn't fare too well over the years of sitting outside. But we hope to have it under it's own power in the future to demonstrate how it worked over 100 years ago when new.

Today there was a little get together for one of our founding members. Roland Endelman turned 94 years young. If you are around the Charles City area and see him out and about wish him a happy belated birthday. He has been an avid engine collector / scale tractor maker / car collector / tinkerer over the decades. Korean War Vet and retired OLIVER Corporation employee.

We have been asked to put out the word of a weekend of activities at the Kinney Pioneer Museum between Mason City and Clear Lake, Iowa. May 9th and 10th will be a couple of days to go out and see what is there to take in. The 9th will be a tractor ride if you are interested in that. Then the 10th will be a tractor / gas engine gathering on the grounds to help draw attention to their museum.
