Eleven years in Heaven. Eleven years without you here, Moo. 💚
I still don’t have the words for losing you. You left me brokenhearted, lost, and forever changed. Some days I can talk about you and smile; other days, the pain feels as heavy as it did when I said goodbye. I’ve never healed from losing you or from the part of my life that ended when yours did.

I miss you every day, Kendel. Your face, your voice, and watching you grow into the person you were becoming. As, I look at this picture of my beautiful suga plum and wish I could reach through it, hold you close, and have one more day with you.

I wonder who you would be at 21, never mind I already know…. A spoiled brat!

I love you forever, Kendel. 💚🕊️

Today, the Kendel Sherman Foundation pauses to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the innocent lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the brave first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who stepped forward when our country needed them most.

September 11 reminds us of the power of courage, compassion, service, and unity. May we continue to carry those lessons with us not only today, but every day.

To every life lost, every hero who answered the call, and every family who continues to carry their memory: we remember you. We honor you. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Today is 988 Day.

The Kendel Sherman Foundation joins communities across the country in raising awareness about the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Mental-health struggles can feel lonely, but no one has to face a crisis alone.

If you or someone you care about needs emotional support, call or text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org to chat with a trained crisis counselor. Support is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day.

Please share this information—you never know who may need it today.

A simple conversation, a listening ear, or checking in on someone can make a difference. Let’s continue to spread awareness, offer support, and remind one another that help is available and hope is real.

You are not alone. 💚

💚Kendel Sherman Foundation in the Community! 💚

Kendel Sherman Foundation had the opportunity to be a vendor at Unity Love Church’s “Unity in the Community” Meet & Greet!

There is something special about being surrounded by people who genuinely want to connect, share resources, and make a positive difference in our community. We were grateful for the opportunity to share information about KSF, our programs, asthma awareness and prevention, mental health resources, and the work we continue to do in Kendel’s honor.

Every conversation, every connection, and every person who stops by our table helps us continue the mission. 💚

A huge thank you to Unity Love Church for inviting us and creating a space centered around love, unity, resources, and community connection. We truly enjoyed being a part of it!
