We’re looking for community voices!

Youth Services Network, the City of Rockford, Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, and NAMI Northern Illinois are working together to build a new restorative justice Community Panel for local youth — and we want the community involved.

Join us October 28 for Restorative Ripple: Part 2 to learn about restorative justice, hear how the Community Panel will work, and experience a restorative circle firsthand.

No experience is needed, and attending does not commit you to joining the panel. Come learn, participate, and see if it’s something you’d like to be part of.

Boone County Health Department will be having a Free Flu Clinic on Thursday, October 8th from 9:00am to 11:30am at The Salvation Army Belvidere Corps Community Center located on 422 South Main Street.

In order to receive a free flu shot, you must be: 18-64 years old, not have health insurance or be underinsured and/or be unemployed or otherwise unable to afford a flu shot.
