Blackhawk Boys and Girls Club Summer program starts on June 19th! For all families interested in signing up, please go to www.rgreatfutures.org Program is free to families who qualify for childcare assistance.

For questions about the program feel free to call, or come into the club on June 9th from 5:30p, - 7:00pm or on June 10th from 11:00am - 3:00pm.

Camp BOOK IT! is a summer program geared towards getting kids reading while school is out. Kids that reach a summer reading goal can get one personal pan pizza a month. Check out the program out at the link below!

About CAMP BOOK IT! Program Dates: June - August Camp BOOK IT! is open to all families with PreK-6th grade students (ages 4-12). Parents set goals, track reading and reward their students, all in our digital dashboard.

We want to welcome our community, members, and families to join us this summer (June 19 - August 18th) for Blackhawk Clubs first all day programming, 7:30am - 5:00pm.

Members will be able to join us this summer for all day adventures like:

Blackhawk Club will be closed over Spring Break March 20th-March 25th. We will open back up March 27th.

Our Club is taking part in the National Youth Outcome Initiative (NYOI) that will be used to track the wellbeing of members in Boys & Girls Clubs nationally.

Members aged 9 and up will be asked to fill out a survey between March 27th - March 31st at the Club. The survey takes around 20 minutes to complete.

Members will not put their names on the survey, and individual responses will never be shared in any report of the results.
We would like all members at our Club to take part in this survey, but it is completely voluntary. Survey participants can skip any questions they do not wish to answer.

If you would like to see the survey, a copy is available at the Club, 330 15th Ave Rockford, IL. If you are not able to stop by the Club, please contact Anaya Tande-Graham for specific survey information.

Parental consent forms are available at the Club, and are also being sent home with children. If you do not consent, please return this form by March 17th. If you do consent, no action is needed from you at this time.

It is with great sadness and gratitude for his commitment to youth that we remember Glenn Patterson. Glenn was a Boys & Girls Club member growing up and returned to play an integral role as Director of our Blackhawk Boys & Girls Club and a member of our senior leadership team. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and the club members who were impacted through his mentorship daily.
