We’re excited to see everyone at Family Day today at Carlson Ice Arena starting at 5:20 PM!

A few quick reminders:
• Check in at the registration table when you arrive
• Cross-ice game participants should be dressed and ready by 6:00 PM
• Full equipment required and bring both a white and dark jersey
• Uniform fittings will take place outside 815 Skate Shop (Rockford Lightning players: bring a check for uniform orders)
• 815 Skate Shop will be open with Family Day specials

Dinner from Baseball Tap and dessert from J&C Ice Cream will be provided. Feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets, or yard games and enjoy the evening with teammates and families.

Big news for Rockford Hockey Club!

RHC will be fielding an 18U Major team in Central States for the 2026-27 season — a major milestone for our Midget program and a reflection of the growth of hockey in Rockford.

Interested players and families are invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, June 11 at 7:30 PM in the Zumba Room at Carlson Ice Arena. We’ll discuss the season structure, expectations, and answer questions.

We look forward to sharing more about this exciting next step for RHC!

Reminder: RHC/Lightning Family Day is this Sunday, June 14!

Join us at Carlson Ice Arena from 5:00–7:20 PM for an evening of hockey, skating, food, and fun with the entire RHC/Lightning family.

Family Open Skate begins at 5:20 PM and is open to all ages and abilities. No registration is required.

All ages and abilities welcome. No registration required—just bring the family and enjoy some time on the ice together.

🏒 Cross-Ice Hockey Games | 6:20 PM
Players, coaches, and parents are invited to take part in friendly cross-ice games. Teams will be organized in advance based on registrations received through the form below. Full hockey equipment is required to participate.

Former Rockford hockey player Cole Tuminaro is being recognized as a potential pick in this year’s NHL Draft — an awesome accomplishment and a testament to the work he’s put in over the years.

Wishing Cole the best as the draft approaches and proud to see a player with Rockford roots making waves at the next level!

Tuminaro, a Rockford native and Chicago Steel product, has a good chance to get drafted in his second year eligible, which would be a nice reward for lots of hard work. He's one of four Illinois natives in the draft pool this year.
