Four year mentorship program, renewable year-by-year between Jefferson High School freshmen of Rockford Public School District with health professions students from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, College of Nursing Rockford University. The goal is to inspire area high school students particularly those at risk or in underrepresented areas, in pursuing higher education or post high school career training.

Big thank you again to Carol Erickson from the University of Illinois Extension Office for addressing healthy eating through breakfast at our February event, last month. Everyone enjoyed the small group activities to get the teens thinking about how to make their breakfast healthier. Thanks for your support!
