This past weekend, our Youth & Government delegation participated in their 2nd Pre-Leg meeting and two of our freshmen delegates were elected into their first leadership positions.

Congrats to Jakobi Flores, Sargeant at Arms of the Senate, and Jayden Winfrey, Secretary of the Senate, for Region 2 of Illinois. It has been such a blessing to see our delegation grow this year and we can’t wait to see if their bills get passed at General Assembly in the Spring. 🙏🏿

Last month, we kicked off our Summer Camp field trip schedule with a visit to Nicholas Conservatory Gardens.

Students in the K-5th grade group learned about the process of growing plants from seeds, and had a chance to explore the beautiful Conservatory!
