These two ladies spent the entire day at Head of the Rock Regatta making sure that ALL the recycling stayed OUT of the Landfill dumpster. Just look at all that cardboard, plastic and cans that will get recycled. Excellent work Jane & Denise!

Be a Recycling Ambassador and help us divert recycling from the landfill. Click on the LINK below.

Once again, Sustain Rockford is a recycling partner, this time with Head of the Rock Regatta. We need your help to make it a success!

What does a Recycling Ambassador do?
* Help people know what belongs in the recycling container
* Answer simple questions (Don't worry, we will give you a list of answers)
* Encourage good recycling habits
* Help make Sustain Rockford known to new audiences
* Wear a cool t-shirt designed by the awesome Alex Johnson with the Disruption Society.

That's it! No trash pickup, No heavy lifting, just friendly conversations that help hundreds of people recycle correctly. Every bottle and can recycled instead of landfilled is a small victory and together these add up. You can even sit in a chair near the bins.

Bring a lawn chair and a water bottle. You will be able to watch the excitement of the Regatta as well!
