🔥 COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT – BGCA IN ACTION 🔥

Thursday evening, we stopped by the Community Life Center of Rockford to celebrate an incredible achievement with our youth basketball players and Coach Shae 🏀👏🏾

Congratulations to the team for taking 1st Place in the Boys & Girls Club Black Rockford League 🏆💪🏾

To celebrate this major win, BGCA proudly donated 30 pizzas from Pizza Hut 🍕 and officially welcomed the Blessed Ballers Youth Basketball Team to perform during halftime at the 2026 S(HE) Who Inspires Me Awards Celebrity Charity Basketball Game 🎬🏀

This is what community, support, and opportunity look like 💯

We are building real pathways for our youth and creating platforms for them to shine on bigger stages!

🌟 YOUTH SPOTLIGHT: Samaria 🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on 11-year-old Samaria, a participant in the BGCA Sports & TV Media Camp! 💙

Samaria stepped up as a leader today by helping teach the other girls how to perform back flips and proper forms. Her confidence, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship were on full display as she encouraged and supported her teammates every step of the way.

At BGCA, we love recognizing young leaders who inspire others by setting a positive example. Keep up the amazing work, Samaria—we’re proud of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish!
