Thanks to state funding secured by Rep Dave Vella and administered by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois in partnership with DCEO, Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling has received a $50,000 grant.

The funding will help support personnel, program supplies, travel, and rent, enabling the organization to continue providing 24-hour counseling and support services to victims of sexual assault and their families in Winnebago, Boone, and Ogle Counties.

We're honored to help connect resources with organizations creating meaningful change throughout our region.

Belvidere School District #100 received $100,000 through a partnership with IL DCEO, State Rep Dave Vella, and CFNIL!

The funding will provide equipment for robotics classes and competitive teams throughout the district, supporting hands-on learning and pathways to STEM-based careers.

A piece of Rockford’s history has found a permanent home. ❤️

A 2,600-pound stone lintel from Ohave Shalom, Rockford’s first synagogue, was preserved and placed on permanent display at Midway Village Museum as part of the Many Faces, One Community exhibit.

Bearing the Hebrew words “Lovers of Peace,” this important artifact helps preserve and share the history and contributions of Rockford’s Jewish community for generations to come.

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to support the 815 Hunger Luncheon! We are proud to partner with the 815 Hunger Luncheon Committee by helping collect and distribute funds raised through this important community effort. Together, we're supporting the nine food pantries of the Greater Rockford Pantry Coalition as they work to address food insecurity across our region. 💙🍽️
