Just a reminder: In January there was a new policy put into place due to insurance increase issues. Absolutely No Gas , Propane or Electric Grills and Fire pits ( propane or wood) will be allowed on the balcony decks or patios. Grilling is allowed 10 ft from the buildings and it must be stored in the garage. Fire pits are not allowed at all. As of June 15, 2024 , there will be a $25.00 a day fine for violating our policy.

Bring in your new garbage can. This is a replacement for your current one and will allow the truck to lift it to the bin. There will be two cans distributed. They won't be picking up bags other than the brown yard waste bags. They need to be placed at the curb 3 feet apart. They won't take garbage from other cans once they are all distributed. Drivers safety. Putting your unit numbers on your cans is a good idea.

Hello Folks,
FYI. Cost Savings on removal and recycle of medium to large unwanted metal items such as old appliances and satellite dishes that the Garbage Truck will not take.
Place ads on Facebook Marketplace for them as scrap items free and you will get plenty of messages from people who will come pick it up. Big box stores charge 30.00 each appliance for removal.
Also check with Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful ( KNIB.org ) in Rockford for recycling TV's , dishwashers ( mostly plastic) , glass etc.

A quick tip: Yard waste must cut down & be in brown bags purchased at big box stores or in a trash can marked with a white X.

Just a reminder that it is illegal to park within 15 feet on either side of the mailboxes according to USPS and is the Creek Bend East Condominium Association policy. You will be subject to towing at your expense and a fine if found blocking the boxes .

Our Master HOA has decided on the new fence near the tollway. Dach Fencing will be installing it over the next month or so. It will be white vinyl , low maintenance and a good investment for our community. We will also maintain the back brush growth on a yearly basis. Expect to receive a notice on each owner's expense share coming soon.
