ROCKDALE REWIND 🐯 🕰️

This week’s rewind is an easy one — come through Rockdalians!

I’ve been sorting through old documents and pictures at the Chamber and I found this photo in the archives. There’s a ton of them! I want to learn more about Rockdale’s history — but I need your help!

Tell me what you know in the comments! Do you recognize the street? The building? Is it still there? What happened to it?
I’ll post a new photo every Friday for you to investigate.

🎟️ HOW TO ENTER:
Take a photo of what this spot looks like today and post it below! First person to comment with a photo of this location in present time gets entered into our Monthly Rockdale Rewind drawing. And of course, be following our page to secure your entry!

🏆 THE PRIZE:
At the end of the month (October 30th), I’ll draw for the winner. The winner will get a $10 gift card to a local business right here in Rockdale!

The first round of this series is sponsored by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce. Does your business want to sponsor next month’s drawing? Send me a message and join in on the series!

The Rockdale ISD PTO are doing some pretty great things for our kiddos! Let’s support them supporting the kids in our community!

🍬🎃 We still need CANDY for Trunk-or-Treat! 🎃🍬
Rockdale ISD PTO is working hard to make this year’s Trunk-or-Treat a fun night for our Tigers, and we could still use your help filling those trunks! 💙💛🐯
🍭 Candy donations are still needed! You can drop off donations at your school’s front office, or message Hannah TODAY to arrange a pickup!
Every bag—big or small—helps us make sure there are plenty of treats for our kiddos! 👻🍫🍬
Thank you for always showing up and supporting our Tigers! 💙💛
Please share to help us spread the word! 🎃🐯
