Another wonderful day of worship, and food!

We took a page from the "old school" style of worship. Usually we have songs and everything on the computer/projector for worship. However, awhile back someone had dropped off a case of songs books and we haven't really done anything with them until today. We spent time just singing some of the old songs and talking about them. Everyone seemed to enjoy pulling out the hymns we all grew up with.
After discussing the sacrifice of Jesus we then took part of remembering that Sacrifice by having communion.

We feasted on pull-pork sandwiches, tater tots and baked beans! Another wonderful meal from Mike McBride and Dewey Ackerman, thank you guys!

Next Sunday come and be uplifted by Mike as he brings the lesson.

What a blessed Sunday!

14 for worship, 19 fed in house and another 21 plates delivered!

We finished up our study on 2 Peter today and what a great book of study.

We feasted on BBQ chicken, beans, mixed veggies and tea and water....

We had a donation of food, from a catering last night so we are blessed!!

Courtney and I finally got away for a little vacation.

Update on happenings at Street Ministries 25:40

In the month of April we served 337 plates on weekdays and Sundays and added 88 plates that were delivered each Sunday. That comes out to being 425 meals served!

We have received various food donations from different groups in town and also individuals that help to cover some costs and reduce time cooking. We dont mind cooking daily, however these donations do help in giving breaks.

Items that we are always in need of:
Paper plates
To go plates
Plastic ware
Paper towels
Toilet paper
Aluminum foil
Aluminum pans (big and small)
Cups for tea/coffee
Sugar
Creamer
Salt/Pepper

Any items donated are a blessing! If you would like a document stating your donations for tax purposes, we can make sure you receive documentation for your records!
