Rockdale Rotary is part of Rotary International, a global network of volunteer members dedicated to humanitarian service and promoting goodwill. Our club is always looking for new members with hearts of service. We invite you to come to one of our meetings and see if our organization is a good fit for you and how you want to serve Rockdale and Southern Milam County. We meet at noon on Tuesdays at

After today's club meeting, we headed to the Youth Opportunity Center for our annual assembly of goodie bags for all Milam County first responders.

Each year 4 of the Center's residents earn the privilege to participate in the project. This year's young men, as always, worked hard and were very respectful.

Each bag contains snacks, hand sanitzer, gum, etc to show our appreciation for the work all first responders do for Milam County.

We would like to thank the Youth Opportunity Center for allowing us to use their facility and for their help in assisting with setup yesterday and with helping load the boxes into the delivery vehicles.

🇺🇸 PROJECT COOL HONOR DONATIONS 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

Rockdale Rotary Club invites our community to honor a fallen military hero through our annual Project Cool Fan Drive.

For every $25 memorial donation, one box fan will be purchased to help keep local families cool this summer throughout Rockdale, Thorndale, Milano, and Gause.

All honored names will be posted Memorial Day evening. 🇺🇸

The mercury is rising 🥵, and we need your help! It is almost time for PROJECT COOL 2026!

We officially start the drive Monday, May 18, but as you can see on this graphic, the QR code is LIVE for donations. 🎗️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that has donated, shared, supported, etc the past 2 years. Last year we gave out 275 fans, and this year our goal is to give out 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ . 👏

Scanning the QR code and donating $25 (or multiples of) is the easiest, most efficient way to participate in this huge undertaking.
