🚒 Rockaway Township Fire Department Annual Inspection & Banquet 🚒
This past weekend, members of White Meadow Lake Fire Company #5, along with the other five companies of the Rockaway Township Fire Department, participated in our annual Department Inspection and Banquet.
Throughout the week, our dedicated members spent countless hours cleaning, polishing, and preparing our firehouse and apparatus to ensure everything was in pristine condition for inspection by members of the Rockaway Township Mayor & Council as well as visiting mutual aid fire chiefs.
The annual inspection is a longstanding fire service tradition that allows our members to showcase the pride, dedication, and professionalism they put into maintaining our apparatus, equipment, and facilities. That same pride carries over into every emergency response. Our members take great pride not only in keeping our station and apparatus looking their best, but also in answering the call whenever our community needs us. Whether it’s responding to a fire, motor vehicle accident, or any other emergency, our members remain committed to providing the highest level of service to the residents of Rockaway Township.
Following the inspection, members gathered for our annual department banquet, an opportunity to celebrate another year of service, recognize our members, and enjoy the camaraderie and brotherhood that make the fire service so special.
A huge thank you to all our members who volunteered their time throughout the week to prepare for this event and to everyone who continues to support our department!
