Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue NY - Mission Statement
We, as members of Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue NY, strive to protect, foster, rehabilitate, and ultimately find forever homes for all adoptable kittens and cats that have been orphaned, neglected, abused, and/or abandoned in the Rockaway Beach Community. We facilitate trap-neuter-return (TNR) as it is an important part of controlling the population of strays.

Oh, what a night! Another successful Noah’s Ark Bingo is in the books. A huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers, my family & friends, and everyone who came out to support us tonight. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

Thanks to your generosity, donations will be made to our fellow local rescues. Together, we’re making a difference and saving lives! ❤️🐾

Spring kitten season is here 🐾🌸

If you come across a litter of newborn kittens, your first instinct might be to scoop them up and rush them to a shelter—but pause!

Most of the time, mama cat is nearby hunting and will return. Removing nursing kittens too soon can actually put them at greater risk, as “bottle babies” require intensive care and have low survival rates in overcrowded shelters.

✔️ Observe from a distance✔️ Wait several hours for mom to return✔️ Only intervene if they’re in immediate danger

When it’s safe, the best thing you can do is let mom raise them until they’re old enough to eat on their own.

Remember: “Leave the kitten where they’re sittin’!”

Huge thank you to PURR RBNY for stepping in and taking my foster kitty to get vetted! 🐾

This is what rescue is all about — teamwork, support, and always putting the animals first. I’m so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for each other when it matters most.

We truly can’t do this alone.

Happy New Year from all of us at Noah’s Ark!

As we close out this year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. To our supporters, donors, fosters, volunteers, adopters, and friends—you are the reason we’re able to do what we do. Every share, every donation, every hour of help has made a real difference in the lives of the animals and the community we serve.

We are so grateful for the continued love and support you show Noah’s Ark. Because of you, we’re able to keep moving forward, helping those who need us most.

Here’s to a healthy, happy, and hopeful New Year. We can’t wait to continue working alongside this incredible community and make the year ahead even more impactful.
