Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art, Music, and Cultural Foundation

Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art, Music, and Cultural Foundation We are a registered Oregon 501c3 non-profit supporting all forms of art based in Rockaway Beach, serving the Neah-Kah-Nie Coast.

We serve to educate, inform, and entertain through the creation and appreciation of art and music in our community. The Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art, Music & Cultural Foundation (NCAM) believes that everyone, including youth, deserves access to cultural expression in an engaged community through writing, music, arts, and cultural programs that reflect — and inspire — our rural community’s creativity, di

versity, and connections with one another. Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art & Music Cultural Foundation & How do our efforts help the community? NCAM creates events to raise money and awareness for arts on the coast. We split the money we raise equally into two key areas:

Scholarships - We provide cash scholarships to high school seniors pursuing further education and training in the Arts. We define arts as any creative activity, from fine art to writing to music to culinary to coding - all of these are forms of art that elevate communities

Special Projects - We are raising money to build a recording studio at Neah-Kah-Nie High School, and we are offering recording grants to local musicians via our in-house recording studio. The purpose of building a modern recording studio at the school is to create a Music Technology program that not only benefits the students who want to be musicians, it opens up options for students who may not be musically inclined but are interested in the technical and production aspects of music. Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

NCAM is committed to serving all members of our community, and we take special pride in welcoming persons with a great diversity of backgrounds; people with disabilities or special needs; adults; children; and seniors.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at our annual auction dinner this year! We had such a fantastic time that we all agreed that we are going to make Garibaldi Portside Bistro our regular spot for our future fundraisers. They are expanding their seating this year.

And thanks to Mitch Whitaker for a beautiful set of original acoustic music. He is working on a new album and we got to preview some new tracks. Everyone is going to want to pick up the new record, and if you don't have the first one, grab it here:
