Our black bear is back in the area, so keep your garbage cans inside until pick up day.

Time to bring your garbage can inside. A Black bear in the area has raided 2 garbage cans and my compost bin, and regularly climbed an apple tree up Juniper for snacking. I saw him standing quietly 10' outside my rear door last night and he's big; 200-300 lbs. These bears aren't dangerous (to humans; don't allow your small dogs or cats out unsupervised), but let's don't encourage his scavenging.
