Systems of Care Day
BOOST Leadership had the opportunity to take a deep dive into healthcare and the systems of care that support our community every day.
We began the day touring Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where we learned about the hospital’s vital role in our community. From state-of-the-art technology to the care and compassion shown by their team, it was clear how deeply committed they are to serving Sweetwater County.
Next, we visited Aspen Mountain Medical Center, where participants suited up for a behind-the-scenes tour of their surgery center and learned more about the important services they provide.
Our day continued at Deer Trail Assisted Living, where we saw firsthand the care and compassion shown to their residents. We especially loved sharing lunch, enjoying a lively game of noodle hockey, and spending time getting to know the wonderful residents.
We also learned about Symbii Home Health and Hospice, who shared a presentation on the vital services they provide and the essential role they play in supporting individuals and families in our community.
At Art of Integrative Wellness, Dr. Franks impressed us with the wide range of services offered and the advanced technology used in his practice, highlighting alternative healthcare options available right here in our community.
We then toured Sage View Care Center, learning more about how they support residents and families, before wrapping up the day at Elements Integrative Wellness Clinic. It was inspiring to tour their beautiful facility, learn more about integrative wellness, and enjoy delicious smoothies to end the day on a high note.
One theme echoed throughout the day: patient care and comfort are the highest priority at each of these facilities. Hearing how deeply this commitment is rooted in their missions and how essential it is to our community’s well-being was truly touching.
A huge thank you to all of the healthcare leaders and professionals who welcomed us, shared their time, and continue to serve our community with such dedication and heart. 💛

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE....

RKS Achieves Second-Best Year in History Amid Continued Growth

ROCK SPRINGS – As the holiday travel season concludes, the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport (RKS) is proud to announce another year of strong performance and growth. In 2025, passenger traffic continued its upward trend, with 52,495 total passengers, an increase of 21.8% over 2024, marking the airport’s second-best year on record and falling just short of 2012 levels, when the region experienced an energy sector driven economic boom and two airlines served the airport with 80% more daily seats.

“This isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people,” said Devon Brubaker, Airport Director. “Every flight represents a connection: a grandmother meeting her first grandchild, a patient traveling for critical care, a local business owner expanding markets, or a skilled worker strengthening our community. Commercial air service is more than convenience, it’s a lifeline. It drives over $38.6 million in annual economic impact for Southwest Wyoming and $2.6 billion statewide, but its true value is measured in the lives it touches every day.”

Beyond passenger growth, 2025 brought increases in aircraft landed weight, time-sensitive cargo, transient hangar utilization, and jet fuel sales, all indicators of a thriving aviation ecosystem in Southwest Wyoming. The airport recorded 10,402 aircraft operations for the year, underscoring its role as a critical transportation hub in Southwest Wyoming.

The airport also celebrated a major milestone earlier in the year with the opening of its new $43.8 million commercial airline terminal, funded with only $1.275 million in local. This state-of-the-art facility enhances the passenger experience, provides a world-class gateway to the community, and positions the airport for continued growth well into the future.
