2025 donations are either on their way or have been delivered. 167 total packages were donated to multiple places throughout the state. Extra were donated to community entities in need. Great job team! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE CAMPAIGN GOING.

IT'S ALMOST HERE! We are dwindling down the days for our collection period for the 2025 season. We have our assembly date set for Saturday January 31st, at the American Legion post 28 in Green River. We start 0900 until we are done. WE NEED YOU! To help with our assembly of these care packages. Bring your kids, bring some friends and join us in this year's campaign. PLEASE SHARE OUR POST AND SEE IF WE CAN BEAT OUR RECORD OF 204 PACKAGES. And as always any monetary donations will be used to buy supplies for the care packages every dollar goes into supporting our square state homeless veterans population.

Care Packages for Wyoming’s Homeless Veterans

Our goal: Reach every homeless Veteran in Wyoming with a care package this winter.
(Approximately 10% of Wyoming’s Veteran population is homeless.)

The Backstory
From Braids Roberts:

Years ago, during a brutally cold winter, I learned about a group of homeless Veterans struggling to survive the weather. I went home, gathered every piece of warm gear and unused supplies I could find, and brought them back.

What touched me most was that—while they were grateful for the items—they were even more grateful for the time, support, and human connection.

I didn’t spend a single dollar; I simply gathered things I had forgotten about. Yet those items made all the difference.
That moment sparked this campaign.

Our goal is to get a care package to every homeless Vet in Wyoming. (10% of the Veterans population in Wyoming are homeless).
The Backstory: Years ago, during a hard frigid winter, I found out about a group of homeless veterans trying to survive. I went home and gathered as much cold weather gear and supplies as I could find to take back to them. As grateful as they were for the items, they were more grateful for the time I took to support them.
I didn’t need to spend any money, I went and gathered all the things I don’t use, just had lying around, and completely forgot about. These are the things that made all the difference to them. So the campaign started.
