We were busy spoiling our girls yesterday, but can’t let the week pass without an official post for
Administrative Support Day… but let’s be honest—these ladies deserve more than just one day anyway 😉

Our school secretaries are the real MVPs. They keep the chaos organized, the phones answered, the paperwork flowing, and somehow still manage to smile through it all. If you’ve ever called, stopped in, or needed literally anything—you know they’re the ones who make it happen.

We are so lucky to have you—thank you for being the heartbeat of our school 💙

Hi families, 🌮

We are excited to be hosting an upcoming fundraiser at Taco Time, and we are reaching out because we truly need your help to make it successful.

The support we receive from this fundraiser goes directly back to our program, our staff and most importantly our children in childcare and pre k —helping us provide materials, activities, and special experiences. The more volunteers we have, the larger portion of proceeds we receive, so every bit of help truly makes a difference.

Volunteer shifts are only 1 hour long, so even if you can give just a small amount of time, it has a big impact. If each family signed up for even one hour, we would be in an amazing position!

We are looking for volunteers at both Taco Time locations, and the tasks are simple—helping wipe down tables as guests leave and assisting with running food to tables. It’s easy, quick, and a great way to support the kids.

You’re also welcome to bring family members or your children to help volunteer!

We know everyone has busy schedules, but this is one of those opportunities where a little bit of time goes a long way for our program. 🎉 Jerky Stick Fundraiser Starts TODAY! 🎉

Overland’s first official fundraiser is here, and we can’t wait to see our Bobcat community rally together! All money raised will go directly back to supporting Overland students and staff.

🥩 How it works:
• Jerky sticks are sold in bundles of 24 (variety pack or single flavor).
• Each stick sells for $2, making the full bag $48.
• To participate, students must have a parent/guardian sign for their first bag in the office.
• The full $48 must be turned in before another bag can be sent home.
• If you’d like multiple bags sent home at once, they must be paid for in advance.

🏆 Prizes! Prizes! Prizes!
Students will earn prizes as they sell:
• 1st bag sold
• 3rd bag sold
• 5th bag sold and beyond!

There will also be:
✨ Top seller prizes for each class (yes… childcare too!)
🎉 A class party for the class that sells the most
🏅 Building-wide top seller prizes

Let’s make this fundraiser a huge success for our Bobcats! 🐾

It’s the season of giving, and we’re excited to help spread some holiday cheer! ❤️

Overland Elementary Early Childhood Education Program is seeking Christmas Stocking Donations during their drive — every stocking donated helps bring joy to children and families in need this holiday season.

Check out the flyer for all the details on how you can contribute. Together, we can make a difference and help make this Christmas a little brighter for those in our community. 🌟

If you shop at Smith's and use a Smith's card, you can help our school gather donations every time you shop! Connect your Smith's card to Overland and Smith's will donate a percentage of the sale to us! This doesn't change what you are paying and you still get your fuel points so helps us a lot!

Signing up is free and easy!

1. Go to SmithsFoodandDrug.com/inspire
2. Sign into your digital account or choose "Create an Account" and fill in the information.
3. Link your Rewards Card to your organization:
Enter our organization's number which is VB211 or at least 3 letters of our school's name and click 'Search', select the organization and choose 'Save'.

Then, every time you shop at Smith's with your Rewards Card, they donate 0.5% of your total order to our nonprofit. (There are a few excluded purchases like to***co, alcohol, and gasoline, but most of the purchase gets included.)
