Sweetwater County 4-H 4-H is an informal, practical, learning-by-doing educational program for youth. 4-H is a year-round Youth development program.

Youth and their families are placed within clubs and guided through activities and projects individually and/or as a group. All 4-H activities seek to foster leadership, citizenship and life skills in youth in a safe environment with trained, caring adults. The purpose of 4-H is to help youth acquire knowledge, develop life skills, and form attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive members of society.

🎨 Show Off Your Creativity: Wyoming 4-H Holiday Card Contest! 🎄✨

Calling all Sweetwater County 4-H members! We saw so many incredible artwork entries at County and State Fair this year, and we know our kiddos have what it takes to design a winning holiday card!

Here is what you need to know to enter:

Who Can Enter: Open to all enrolled Wyoming 4-H members.

What to Submit:

An original holiday card design (front cover or full folded design).

Size: 5x7 inches.

Must include a holiday greeting/message and your signature!

Digital format: JPG, PNG, or PDF.

Submission Deadline: October 25, 2026

How to Submit: Email your design to [email protected] with the subject line "Holiday Card Contest".

🏆 Prizes & Honors:
The winning designer will get to choose an item from the Wyoming 4-H e-store (with an allotted balance)! Plus, the winning card will be sent out to all Wyoming 4-H stakeholders and made available for anyone to purchase.

Join us for a four-week cultural exchange with 4-H youth in Chile! This unique opportunity gives Wyoming 4-H members the chance to experience life in another country, and then welcome a new friend into their own home to share what makes Wyoming special.

Horse Development is planning a post fair meeting this Thursday, September 10, at 6 pm at the SEC regular meeting room. Shae will be joining to go over suggestions, ideas, and a recap of fair.
We encourage everyone to attend or please send your thoughts to Jael so we can add it to the list.
A big thank you to all our volunteers, sponsors and the youth for helping make another successful fair.

🍀 Please help us welcome Chloe Willenborg, UW Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Educator serving Sweetwater County and Sweetwater County 4-H.

Chloe grew up participating in 4-H and FFA, where she focused on livestock projects and leadership. She also brings experience in teaching and 4-H programming, including work with youth in Sweetwater County and Georgia.

In her new role, Chloe will help strengthen local 4-H programming while building relationships with Sweetwater County youth, families, volunteers and community partners.
