Not a bad day, winning 2 out of 3. We beat a very good Lakewood team in OT after being down 13. Everybody showed tremendous heart coming back to get the win. We let the third one get away, its tough playing 3 games a day at this level. Look forward to bracket play later today, we still have 1 pool game to go, should be a blast. The Stars are working their tails off.

Practice was definitely a learning experience tonight, great scrimmage. It was an opportunity for everybody to see where they need to get to. It was impressive how everybody played hard and showed no signs of being intimidated. Continue to work hard and good luck this weekend. D, Hannah and KK we will sure miss you ladies.

Check your inbox for the Tournament schedules I emailed to all that I have missing Darians and Hannahs, 10 teams in 7/8 grade division. Not the best scheduling, our first game is 3 on Saturday last game could be as late as 8 on Sunday. Good thing Monday is a Holiday.

Congratulations to all Stars who won awards last night at the East Jr. High awards ceremony. Great job girls you continue to make us all proud!
A special shout out goes to Mariah for being chosen outstanding 8th grade girl. Way to go Mariah I'm glad you got rewarded for what we all already knew, you are an awesome student, athlete & person.

Notified today that the Salt Lake Tournament May 27th & 28th is a no go (not enough teams signed up) so it looks like we will be going to Denver that weekend. We will be in touch concerning Hotel Reservations.
