I just want to let you all know that I am currently in the process of planning for Sweetwater County’s First Annual MS Walk the Rock fundraiser! I am going to be sending out letters along with company fundraiser sheets! We would like to start collecting items and donations so that we will be able to purchase all the items, as well as getting all the shirts and everything like that placed. This is a great read, for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis and how to educate individuals that don't fully understand what MS really does to individuals. The most important thing to share with friends and family, is that not everyone has the exact same symptoms, the only thing that is the same is the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

From ‘you don’t look sick’ to ‘you need to exercise more,’ these well-intentioned responses to hearing of a person’s MS can come off as insensitive.
