Gardening and wine at Sidekicks were an excellent combination last Friday the 13th. Here are the photos from the succulent planting event, done in conjunction with SWYP, WyoParks, and the Chamber of Commerce. A huge shout out to all the supporting businesses and everyone who put this event together!

We had a fantastic time last night at the Succulent Planting Event by the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce, Sweetwater Young Professionals - SWYP, and Wyoming State Parks! Not only did we plant our own succulents but we also learned how to properly care for them. Thank you to everyone who attended. This event supported the following local businesses:

Sidekicks Book and Wine bar
Simply Sunshine
The Home Depot
Save the Date Flower and Wedding Studio

We appreciate the resources these businesses were able to provide to make this event successful!

SWYP is teaming up with Wyoming State Parks and Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce for Succ it - Friday the 13th at Sidekicks Book and Wine bar on Friday, May 13th at 6pm to make-your-own succulent arrangement!

A big Thank You to the Sweetwater Young Professionals - SWYP for their donation to the Museums Board from their "Night at the Museum". We had a great time at the event and can't wait to do more with SWYP in the future!

Next SWYP Event: Are You Smarter Than An Engineer?

Put your building skills, your problem solving abilities, and your competitive nature to the test on June 24. Small groups will work together to solve a specific problem using the materials provided.

If you miss getting to build bridges out of Popsicle sticks, this event is for you.

Prizes and refreshments provided by SWYP. Location is To Be Determined, but please RSVP if you're interested! We are trying to get a count.

Note: An engineer is not necessarily guaranteed at this event, but we do hope that some will show up.
