Hello Rock Spring and Lafayette, Boy Scout Troop 125 is repairing our scout building for Rock Spring UMC. It is in bad need of repairs, I am asking for donations of building materials for the repairs. Any thing from the list below will be a help and greatly appreciated, even it is only 1 board or piece of material.
20 pieces 1x6x10 board. 11.63
20 pieces 4x8x1/2" osb decking. 13.77
25 pieces 2x4x10 board. 5.47
54 bundles chateau green roof shingles. 25.98 bundle. Needs to be ordered all at 1 time
15 gal. Exterior White paint. 117.00 Each
5 gal. Exterior brick red paint. 117.00

Except for the roof shingles and paint it's not really over $15.00 a piece, not a lot to help our youth in the community.

When we are done the scout building will look like Rock Spring United Methodist Church.

Troop 125 in Rock Spring is recruiting boys and girls to join the adventure of scouting. We meet every Monday at 6.30 at the scout hut across from Rock Spring UMC. Come join the adventure of the outdoors. Learn new outdoor skills and have fun. Contact Bill Conley at 423-364-0607

We are having our Court of Honor Monday at 6pm at Rock Spring United Methodist Church in the Spring (gym) this is a HUGE event.

Just finished a week at Skymont with 8 boys. We were in top 2 best campsite on Monday, took the cracked skillet (best campsite) on Tuesday, got a perfect score on Wednesday and Thursday for campsite, and got the montoskey award at campfire on Friday for best overall campsite. Troop 125 did a excellent job keeping our campsite up thanks to Trouse Hise and Nathan Collier for leading the unit to our success. I am very proud of our boys.

Saturday May 25th Scouts honor the veterans at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 8 a.m. I putting out Flags parking is all around the cemetery but we cannot park inside at the cemetery this year all this counts as service hours they were also needing some volunteers on Tuesday morning to pick up the flags I know most of y'all work and cannot support that thanks Bill Conley
