Introducing this years Lamb and Goat Show Judge, Mr. Eric Sahagun Jr.

Eric originally comes from California’s Central Coast, where his passion for agriculture took root through years of active involvement in 4-H and FFA. His experiences in agricultural education sparked a strong interest in animal science and livestock evaluation, leading him to compete at the national level and internationally at the Royal Highland Show in Scotland. After high school, Eric earned a livestock judging scholarship to Butler Community College before transferring to Kansas State University. There, he completed his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and proudly contributed to the success of the 2022 National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation Team. He now manages an animal research farm for the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia.

Be sure to come out and watch our wonderful 4-H and FFA showmen on September 12th at 2:00pm!

We have added a Family Room to our indoor activities! Kids activities will be available all day, and will also include storytime, a kids cooking demonstration, and a S.T.E.A.M activity.
