We desire to bring glory to God by serving those in our community who are looking for a less expensive alternative to basic necessities such as furniture, clothing and household items. We offer resale with a purpose: to be a blessing to all who walk through the doors of the Lost but Found Thrift Store, greeting them in the Name of Jesus and bringing the good news of His Gospel.

Resale with a Purpose

Out of a desire to bring glory to God by serving those looking for a less expensive alternative to basic necessities such as furniture, household items and clothing; the Lost But Found thrift store offers resale with a purpose: to be a blessing to all who walk through the doors. The store is open Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for anyone to shop no matter what the economic status! Opportunities to volunteer exist as well on an as-needed basis. Please contact our Store Manager, Vicki Slack at the ATLAS of Lyon County office at 712-472-9016 or Lost But Found thrift store at 712-472-0117 with interest or for any additional assistance.

Donation How-To

Donations are accepted at the store during regular business hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm as well as the drop off site located in the Pizza Ranch parking lot in Rock Rapids. All items that are dropped off at any of our sites are/become the property of ATLAS of Lyon County. Please be sure of the donation before leaving it. REMOVING ITEMS FROM THE DROPBOX OR THE STORE COULD RESULT IN A PENALTY. If anything was donated unintentionally or there is interest in someone else's donation, please contact the ATLAS of Lyon County office at (712) 472-9016 or the Lost But Found thrift store at (712) 472-0117. For the donation of furniture and larger items, please coordinate a drop off time with Vicki by calling the ATLAS of Lyon County office at 712-472-9016. We are happy to accept your donation of gently-used items that are in working-condition. However, items that we are unable to receive include stuffed animals, encyclopedias, tires, paint, older box style television sets, outdated or non-functioning computer equipment/electronics and baby cribs/car-seats that have been recalled or are expired. Please help the ministry from accruing unnecessary dumping costs by refraining from donating things that do not fall within these guidelines.
