The Central Lyon School Foundation gives out $750 "Lion Grants" to teachers each Spring. These grants have purchased a multitude of different products for the classroom including flexible seating, online resources, musical equipment, ACT prep materials & even CPR certification fees for our athletic coaches! You can give to the Foundation yet for the 2025 fiscal year and help us put even more equipment into our teacher's hands!

Just a reminder that walk-ups are always welcome at the All-School Reunion this Saturday, June 21! Our social time will start at 5:00 PM with the dinner being served at 5:30 PM followed by our speaker, Dana Dykhouse, at 6:30 PM! The cost is just $20 and the Rock Rapids Fire Dept will be there with their cash bar from 5:00-8:00!

Last May the CLSF handed out 15 scholarships to graduating seniors at Central Lyon for a total of $10,000! This upcoming May we plan to give EVERY graduating senior that attends college at least a $500 scholarship!

The Central Lyon School Foundation will be hosting the All-School Reunion this Saturday, June 17! The social will start at 5:00, dinner at 5:30 and the program at 6:30. You can register at the door and the cost is $20. Our speaker this year is Class of 1998 graduate Dan Xayaphanh!

Here is a great example of where donations to the Central Lyon Foundation go! The PE teachers asked for a Lion Grant from the Foundation to get some ping pong tables. This is something that Mr. Lorenzen has wanted to do for decades but never had the funding and thanks to all of your donations, he finally was able to get it done! These tables will be used by all the PE classes at Central Lyon and will be available for other school organizations to utilize such as After Prom and FCA.

We want to thank everyone that has ever donated to our organization and to know that your money has a direct impact on the students at Central Lyon!

One option to support the Central Lyon School Foundation is for you to include us in the Charitable Giving section of your Estate Plan. You can do this by including the CLSF in your Will, or identifying the Foundation as a beneficiary of a Trust or your 401(k) Plan. These “Legacy Gifts” are great ways to support the foundation and further its mission of supporting Central Lyon students, teachers, and graduates.
