This October, we’re shining a spotlight on EveryChild’s Doula Services Program and introducing you to the amazing team members who support families during one of life’s most special journeys. 🤰✨

Today, we’re celebrating Emma Miner, our Doula Coordinator! Emma leads our incredible doula team as they walk alongside expecting moms, providing education, encouragement, and compassionate support throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and beyond. 💕

We’re so grateful for Emma and the difference she makes in helping moms feel supported, empowered, and prepared to welcome their little ones!

💚Thank you to our donors who gave through Birdies for Charity this year!⛳

Today we celebrated a historic milestone for the John Deere Classic.

Because of your generosity, the JDC generated a record $20.1 million for 492 charities in 2026. The vast majority of those funds were raised through the Birdies for Charity program, which continues to connect donors with the causes they care about while amplifying their impact.

This year, Birdies for Charity also delivered a record $1.56 million Bonus Fund distribution, providing EveryChild with an additional 8.85% match on the dollars we raised.

These funds give us the flexibility to meet immediate needs, invest in new opportunities, and strengthen our missions for the future.

EveryChild is hosting a Stewards of Children® training on October 21 from 9:00–11:30 a.m. at EveryChild, and the training is FREE!

Stewards of Children is an evidence-informed training designed to educate adults about how to prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse. Whether you work with children, are a parent or caregiver, or simply want to be better equipped to protect the children in our community, this training is for you.

When we know more, we can do more good. Join us, learn the signs, and become part of the solution.

EveryChild is proud to recognize Stephanie Woodworth, Vice President of Finance, as the 4th-quarter recipient of the Swisher Award!

Stephanie embodies everything this award represents. She consistently goes above and beyond, stepping in wherever she is needed with a simple mindset: What needs to be done, and how can I help?

Over the past year, Stephanie has played an instrumental role in guiding EveryChild through one of our biggest transitions — from navigating our building move and complex financial decisions to budgeting, grant management, and countless behind-the-scenes responsibilities.

Through it all, she has remained calm, thoughtful, and solution-focused. Whether she’s covering the front desk and answering phones or managing critical financial decisions, Stephanie does whatever it takes to help EveryChild run smoothly.

What makes Stephanie so special is that she never seeks recognition. She quietly supports her colleagues, solves problems before they grow, and provides stability during times of change.

Are you passionate about supporting families, strengthening parent-child relationships, and helping children thrive? 💛 We’re looking for a Family Support Specialist to join the EveryChild team!
You’ll work alongside families in Rock Island County, providing home visitation services, parenting support, child development information, and connections to community resources—including support for high-risk and emerging immigrant and refugee families.

🏡 Provide parenting support through curriculum-driven home visitation services
🤝 Develop service plans with families and support them in reaching their goals
