Comrades and Auxiliary, I have just learned of the passing of a dear friend and comrade past post Commander of VFW Post 6734
Mr. Leroy Cruel
August 14, 1948 — May 8, 2026
Easley
Mr. Leroy Cruel, 77, of Easley, husband to Sheryn Cruel, transitioned on Friday, May 8, 2026, at his residence. Born in Travelers Rest, SC; he was the son of the late Lindsey Hunt and Sarah Louise Cruel Griffin.

Surviving: in addition to his wife of the home, his granddaughter, Tkeyah Taylor, of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Sarah Frances Young and Hazel Young, both of Greenville, SC; one brother, Doug (Vicky) Griffin, of Greenville, SC; one granddaughter, one great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are incomplete.

The rest of May is going to be busy for the shop AND the food trailer! In addition to the event at LA Fitness listed on the flyer we also have 2 private events. If you have a special event coming up (graduation, family reunion, pool or neighborhood party please reach out! We would love to talk about how we could help make it a little more special.
