A huge thank you to Sullivan 180 for sponsoring our very first Scout Spartan Team!
Scouting and Sullivan 180 share many of the same core principles: leadership, service, personal growth, community involvement, healthy living, resilience, and helping young people reach their full potential. Their support helped make this incredible experience possible.
Today, six Scouts from Family Troop 101 and one Scout from Troop 92 in Wurtsboro took on the Spartan Challenge! For those unfamiliar, a Spartan Race is an obstacle course race that tests participants' strength, endurance, teamwork, determination, and mental toughness through a series of challenging obstacles, climbs, carries, crawls, and trail running.
Our Scouts demonstrated courage, perseverance, teamwork, and the Scout spirit throughout the entire event. They pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones, supported one another, and crossed the finish line with pride.
We couldn't be more proud of these amazing young Spartans and Scouts. Thank you again to Sullivan 180 for believing in our youth and helping create an unforgettable experience for our first-ever Scout Spartan Team!
