πβοΈβοΈπ π£πThe York County Clemson Club wishes to congratulate 1993-1997 Tiger great Lamont Hall on his election to the York County Sports Hall of Fame!!! Lamont Hall, a 1993 graduate of Clover High School, left his mark as a dominant football, basketball, and baseball player in Blue Eagle Country. Hall lettered in every sport he played, all four years he played at CHS. In his senior year, he was MVP, all-conference and Region Three Player of the Year in basketball. He is the all-time leading scorer in CHS basketball history. After high school, Hall attended Clemson University, where he played tight end for the Tigers. He played in every Clemson football game his four years, winning the Joe Francis Leadership Award in 1997. In 1996, he was named second team All-ACC, becoming the first tight end to make an all-star team in 12 years at Clemson. During his time at Clemson, Hall played in the 1993, 1996, and 1997 Peach Bowls and in the 1995 Gator Bowl. After Clemson, Hall played professional football for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, the Green Bay Packers, and the New Orleans Saints from 1999-2005.
