York County Clemson Club The York County Clemson Club exists to serve friends and graduates of Clemson University within York County, SC.

Furthermore, YCCC provides special opportunities for information exchange and activities in our area. Membership is open to all alumni and supporters of Clemson University. If you are interested in becoming a member please visit our club website. Dues for membership are $20/person with a portion going directly to Clemson in your name, thereby crediting you as an active donor. The remainder of your

contribution helps support YCCC initiatives, some of which include academic scholarships, our Student Send Off Picnic, the Prowl & Growl Banquet, and our Big Thursday Party. YCCC Executive Board 2022-2024

🏈⭐️⭐️🟠🟣🏈The York County Clemson Club wishes to congratulate 1993-1997 Tiger great Lamont Hall on his election to the York County Sports Hall of Fame!!! Lamont Hall, a 1993 graduate of Clover High School, left his mark as a dominant football, basketball, and baseball player in Blue Eagle Country. Hall lettered in every sport he played, all four years he played at CHS. In his senior year, he was MVP, all-conference and Region Three Player of the Year in basketball. He is the all-time leading scorer in CHS basketball history. After high school, Hall attended Clemson University, where he played tight end for the Tigers. He played in every Clemson football game his four years, winning the Joe Francis Leadership Award in 1997. In 1996, he was named second team All-ACC, becoming the first tight end to make an all-star team in 12 years at Clemson. During his time at Clemson, Hall played in the 1993, 1996, and 1997 Peach Bowls and in the 1995 Gator Bowl. After Clemson, Hall played professional football for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, the Green Bay Packers, and the New Orleans Saints from 1999-2005. The York County Clemson Club would like to congratulate Ashley Blake of Fort Mill and Meridee Ritzer of Rock Hill on being chosen as 2026 Goldwater Scholars!!! Outstanding!!!!

Three Clemson University Honors students have been named 2026 Goldwater Scholars, one of the nation’s most prestigious undergraduate awards in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

All three students are from South Carolina: Ashley Blake of Fort Mill, Andrew β€œDrew” Hodges of Greenwood and Meridee Ritzer of Rock Hill.

Congratulations to the Class of 2030 Tigers!!!
TigerTown Bound signs will be distributed on Tuesday, March 31st via a DRIVE THRU ONLY event from 4pm-6pm at Fountain Park in Rock Hill. PLEASE ENTER FROM THE BLACK STREET entrance to the park so we can keep traffic flowing. Please do not park as this holds up distribution. One sign per family while supplies last. Any signs we have still available after the event can be picked up at location(s) we will post after the event with the dates they will be available.
