Day 6: Sponsor a Night of Shelter

At Bethel Shelters, we are blessed to provide 68 beds year-round, offering a safe and welcoming place for our guests. Through the support of our church partners, we are able to ensure no one is turned away during the coldest months of the year.

Our team provides more than shelter; we offer clean linens, meals, encouragement, and case management that helps guests take steps toward housing, employment, healthcare, and stability.

Your donation helps us continue providing more than a place to sleep. It helps restore dignity, create hope, and open the door to a brighter future.

Day 5 Operational Costs

Providing shelter is about more than offering a bed for the night. It requires dedicated staff working every day to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for our guests.

At Bethel Shelters, we rely on an intake team to welcome new guests and connect them with services, and a Safety and Security staff to help maintain a secure environment

These positions are critical to the success of our mission. They ensure that our shelter operates smoothly, that guests receive the support they need, and that everyone who walks through our doors is treated with dignity and respect.

Day 4 Workforce Development

A key step in overcoming homelessness is helping individuals rebuild confidence, gain skills, and return to work. Through our Back to Work program, partnering with the City of Rock Hill, guests receive valuable hands-on work experience and support in finding long-term employment opportunities.

As participants secure jobs, we help provide essential work items such as gloves, work shoes, safety vests, and other supplies needed to succeed on the job.

Day 3 Household Items

Take a moment to think about all the everyday items in your home, such as dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and other household essentials. Most of us don't give these items a second thought, but for someone moving out of homelessness and into stable housing, these necessities can be difficult to afford.

When guests leave Bethel Shelters and move into a place of their own, they are often starting over with very little. A small donation can make a big difference by helping us provide welcome baskets filled with household staples that make the transition easier.

Each evening, volunteers provide warm meals to the 60–80 men staying at our Night Shelter. While we are grateful for their support, there are times when no volunteer team is available to prepare a meal.
