Underexposed Film Festival yc The Underexposed Film Festival YC focuses on films made by independent filmmakers with a running tim

In 2012, we showcased the best in indie filmmaking from across the United States, including short films featured in our exhibition blocks that took home the top prizes in their categories at the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Festival de Cannes. Many of the featured exhibition filmmakers have asked to have their future work considered for screenings in our upcoming Festivals. D

uring the 2-hour screening of the competition films the house was packed, and the filmmakers shared their vision and their process during a lively Q&A. In 2013, the Underexposed Film Festival YC continues its focus on high quality, independently created short films where all films submitted will be in competition. On November 15-16, 2013, filmmakers and enthusiasts will converge upon the Community Performance Center in Rock Hill, SC to be exposed, engaged, intrigued, enlightened, challenged and entertained by films that go places and do things that longer format movies only dream of. Downtown Rock Hill is a state-recognized Cultural District in South Carolina.
