Our Story

MJF was founded in 2016 after the loss of our angel Mason Jayce at only 7 months old.We strive to help children realize their potential and build their future. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit. We gift new babies born at Piedmont Medical Center their first book. This helps promote early learning and bonding time with the parents. We also help send kids to summer camps, visit elementary schools to promote literacy, help and support families after loss of their loved one. In addition we also started Simply Mason Design in which we design and sell t-shirts, mugs, decals,gift baskets, metal and wooden signs, pretty much anything that vinyl can be put on we do it. All proceeds from Simply Mason Design goes back to his Foundation to help fund the programs. Yes, 100% of Simply Mason Design proceeds is put right into his programs. No money is made by Mason’s death. Mason’s Foundation is organized and ran by his father, Tyler Elmore, paternal grandparents, Randy and Tammy Elmore, his uncle Steven Elmore. As with any nonprofit, the cost of running and and maintaining is costly. A lot of our own money is put into it just to keep it going. Last year 2018, we gifted 1092 books to the babies at Piedmont Medical Center and hope to pass that amount this year in 2019. We want to honor Mason and build his legacy. Please like and share our page and help us grow!! All donations are tax deductible. We also take gently used books as well, they are given to small daycare’s in our area. Also any volunteers are greatly welcome to help us get books ready each month for the drop off at the hospital. If your company has employee volunteer programs then come on out and help. We have many way for you to help with donation, volunteering and purchasing our designs.
